Testimonials from our customers

How has our collaboration met your expectations?
When we started working with Arcom, we had two objectives: to reduce our component costs and to improve the quality and repeatability of our production. The aim was to stabilise our product while offering a more competitive price at higher volumes than we had previously produced with our small-batch machinist. Both objectives have been more than achieved.
What aspects of our partnership do you particularly appreciate?
For me, as the person in charge of design, industrialisation and production monitoring, and with an industrial product that keeps evolving batch after batch, the most important aspect of the collaboration has been the responsiveness and availability of the teams. Even when we made last-minute changes, sometimes in the middle of production, Arcom was there for us and always found a way for us to correct course and deliver on time. This flexibility is the key to our project's success, especially for a company like ours that cannot afford to lose time.
Contrary to what you might think, this flexibility in no way affects the rigour and standards Arcom applies to every order. Our reject rate is extremely low, and it's a pleasure to be able to trust the quality of the parts delivered with our eyes closed. No more need to re-inspect behind them: everything is 100% compliant.
A word on the quality of our communication or our services?
Arcom is a company on a human scale, and the contacts for each topic are clearly defined and always responsive. We know who to turn to depending on our needs (technical, sales, planning...). Big shout-out to Thomas, our technical contact, with whom we have built a great relationship, as with the rest of the team, who are very involved in the project and always ready to do their utmost to help us reach our goals.
I'd also like to thank Géraldine and Sébastien for their support and their desire to see us grow alongside them.
Long live Arcom and thank you to the entire team!

Our FAQs

What are your main areas of expertise?
close open

We specialise in precision engineering, CNC machining, 5-axis milling, turning, bar turning and the assembly of mechanical components.

We machine both standard and engineering materials: stainless and other steels (316L, 304L, 17-4PH), aluminium, copper and brass, and engineering plastics (POM, PEEK, PTFE, PA6). We also master the most demanding materials: titanium, tungsten alloys, superalloys and nickel alloys (Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel, nickel, cobalt-chrome). Each material requires its own machining parameters, which we build in from the design stage.

Our fleet covers a wide dimensional range, from Ø 0.50 mm to Ø 250 mm:

  • Sliding-headstock CNC lathes (Swiss-type): Ø 0.50 to Ø 32 mm
  • Multi-spindle lathes: Ø 16 mm maximum, SST only
  • Twin-spindle CNC lathes: Ø 10 to Ø 65 mm
  • CNC chucking lathes (blanks): Ø 300 mm maximum
  • 5-axis HSM machining centres: 500 x 500 x 500 mm
  • Mitsubishi FA 20S wire EDM: X 500, Y 350, Z 300 mm

Everything is housed on a 3,000 m² production site & 3500 m².

We manufacture parts for the medical, nuclear, aerospace, defence and armament, fluidics, vacuum and ultra-high vacuum, and industry and machinery sectors. Each market has its own requirements for dimensional validation, material selection and traceability: our processes and inspection plans are adapted sector by sector.

ARCOM Industrie is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and EN 9100. These four standards cover quality management, medical devices, environmental management, and aerospace. They rely on a documented quality system, in-house metrology and material traceability maintained throughout manufacturing. Depending on the requirements of the specification, we supply 3.1 inspection certificates and mark each part individually.

Both, depending on the technology used: CNC turning for batches of more than 250 parts, 5-axis and HSM milling from 100 parts, wire EDM from 100 parts, and multi-spindle bar turning for large runs above 30,000 parts. We also support the prototype and pre-series phases before ramp-up. In total, 60 million parts are delivered every year to 10 countries.

Yes, they are an integral part of our service. In-house: a passivation line for stainless steel and titanium, a vacuum washing machine using modified alcohol, laser marking for identification and traceability, and laser micro-welding with leak testing. We also assemble sub-assemblies: pinning, press-fitting, technical bonding, glass-to-metal sealing, silver brazing and TIG welding. For medical applications, specific operations are available: biocompatible alcohol washing, assembly in a dedicated cell and packaging for cleanroom integration.

Our approach is structured by ISO 14001 certification. It translates into concrete actions to reduce the impact of production, including recycling the oils and chips from machining and optimising the site's energy consumption. These requirements are built into how production is organised.
