Privacy policy

What data we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is ARCOM Industrie, SAS, 512 avenue des Jourdies, 74800 Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny, France. For any question about your data: info@arcom-industrie.com or +33 (0)4 50 03 99 14.

The data we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you:

  • through the contact form: last name, first name, email address, phone number, company, how you heard about us, the subject of your request, your message and any files you choose to attach (drawings, CV);
  • through audience measurement: if you accept it, browsing data (pages viewed, visit duration, device type, approximate location) collected by Google Analytics. If you refuse, Google only receives anonymous signals, without cookies or identifiers, which are used to estimate traffic.

Why we use it

  • Answering your requests for information or quotes. This is necessary for the discussions you start with us before a possible contract.
  • Reviewing your application if you write to us about a job, on the same basis.
  • Measuring website traffic in order to improve it. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who has access to it?

Your data is only read by the people at ARCOM Industrie who need it to handle your request. It is never sold or passed on.

A few service providers work on our behalf for technical purposes: o2switch, which hosts the website in France, Agence Popote, which maintains it, and Google for audience measurement if you accept it. Google may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Contact and quote requests: 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Unsuccessful applications: 2 years after our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Your cookie choices: 6 months.
  • Audience measurement data: 14 months maximum.

Your rights

You can at any time access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, ask for its processing to be restricted or for a portable copy, and withdraw your consent. You can also tell us what you would like to happen to your data after your death.

Simply write to us at info@arcom-industrie.com or by post to the address above. We will reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you feel that your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

Security

The website is served over a secure connection (HTTPS) and only a small number of people can administer it. Messages sent through the form are forwarded to our teams by email and stored in the website’s administration area.

Cookies

Details of the cookies set on this website, and how to change your choices, can be found under Cookie management.
