Initially deployed on Okuma twin-spindle \/ twin-turret lathes, APC now also runs a closed automated cell with robotic loading and unloading and 100% dimensional inspection with automatic correction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In practical terms, the tool lets us achieve zero dimensional rejects on the monitored parts while simplifying day-to-day control: an operator, even a novice, can now produce complex parts simply by reading the drawing and mastering the measuring instruments, freeing our experienced operators to supervise more machines in parallel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inspection data, structured directly as control charts, also speeds up batch release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now used on 4 machines in stable series production, APC continues to be rolled out at ARCOM, with the next step being a finer organisation of programming to extend its use to more part numbers.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since 2022, ARCOM Industrie has been automatically controlling and correcting the settings of its machine tools with Ellistat's APC software.
